 My sweet little Sophie and I doing a great cuddle on a downpour morning.  She was such a good cuddler. 

It was the 5th day of around 99 degrees.  I put the sprinkler out for my songbirds so they could come to the birdfeeders to eat and cool off.  Lo, my local hawk, who probably came down for breakfast, found the sprinkler and hung around for a little while.  Sturgis was about 15 feet away from him, but none of us moved....twas too hot.  

 This was my little squirrel friend in Perth Amboy.  He was so athletic and so bold.  I loved him. 

 He's so fantastic.  My friend Shawnetta & I went to see him on a beautiful day at a NY park.  So glad we went...
